2face Reacts To Ice Prince’s Arrest, Demands For His Release

Nigerian popular singer, 2face Idibia has taken to social media to demand for the release of his colleague, Panshak Zamani, popularly known as Ice Prince.

In the wee hours of Friday, September 2, the Oleku singer was taken into custody for reportedly abducting and assaulting a police officer in Lagos.

He was arraigned by the Lagos State Police Command with three offences involving assault, obstruction, and abduction of a police officer.

The musician was remanded in Ikoyi Correctional Center by a magistrate court sitting in Ajah, Lagos State.

He pleaded not guilty after having the counts read to him.

He was subsequently granted bail by Magistrate Taiwo Oyaniyi in the some of N500,000 and was ordered to produce two trustworthy sureties for the court.

He will remain in custody there until his bail requirement is met, the magistrate ruled. He then put the case’s further proceedings on hold until September 7.
